Clawhammer Banjo WOrkshop for BEginners

If you've ever been curious about playing old-time, clawhammer, and frailing banjo styles, now is your chance to try it out! This Beginner Clawhammer Banjo Workshop is made for the complete beginner - No experience necessary! This also a great opportunity for folks with bluegrass experience to try out a new style of playing. We will cover a brief history of old time banjo playing and styles, some differences between bluegrass vs. clawhammer, your basic “bum-ditty” strum, and how to get started using your left hand by learning a basic melody and your first three chords.

Workshop cost is only $20! Bring your own banjo, OR borrow one from our shop for an additional $5!
