The Chickadee 13/12 Hammered Dulcimer made by Songbird Dulcimers of Muscatine, Iowa is an affordable, durable, and reliable hammered dulcimer. The top is built with a laminated birch wood coated with a black paint and polyurethane, giving it an orange peel-like texture. This dulcimer is lightweight and easy to carry and despite it’s small size, it has very few limitations in a musical repertoire. Featuring Walnut rails, Hard Maple pin blocks, and Walnut bridges, this is the only American-made dulcimer of it’s kind.
